End User License Agreement (EULA)

Last updated July 4, 2026

This End User License Agreement ("EULA") is a legal agreement between you and BimOra for the BimOra SDW plugin for Autodesk® Revit® (the "Software"). By installing or using the Software you agree to this EULA. It supplements the Terms & Conditions.

1. License

BimOra grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and run the Software on the number of devices allowed by your plan (by default one active device per seat), solely for your internal business purposes and only while you hold a valid license (paid, trial or otherwise issued by BimOra).

2. Activation, sessions & offline use

  • The Software requires a BimOra account and a valid license key to activate.
  • Activation binds the license to a device identifier; the Software periodically validates the session with BimOra's servers ("heartbeat"). Starting a new session ends the previous one.
  • Offline license files are signed, bound to one device and time-limited; renewing them requires re-connecting to your account.
  • Tampering with activation, heartbeats, signatures, or version checks is a material breach of this EULA and terminates your license automatically.

3. Restrictions

You may not:

  • copy (except one backup), modify, translate or create derivative works of the Software;
  • reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the Software except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by applicable law;
  • rent, lease, lend, sell, sublicense, distribute or otherwise transfer the Software or your license key;
  • remove or alter proprietary notices;
  • use the Software to develop a competing product;
  • use the Software in violation of applicable law or export-control regulations.

4. Updates & minimum supported version

BimOra may provide updates that install alongside or replace the Software. BimOra may set a minimum supported version; older versions may be required to update before continuing to run, including for security and compatibility reasons.

5. Ownership

The Software is licensed, not sold. BimOra and its licensors retain all right, title and interest in the Software, including all intellectual-property rights. Your Revit models and the documentation output generated in your projects belong to you.

6. Term & termination

This EULA is effective until terminated. It terminates automatically if you breach it, if your license expires or is revoked, or if your subscription ends. Upon termination you must stop using and uninstall the Software. Sections 5, 7 and 8 survive termination.

7. Warranty disclaimer

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. BIMORA DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR REVIEWING ALL OUTPUT THE SOFTWARE PRODUCES IN YOUR MODELS BEFORE RELYING ON IT.

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BIMORA WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA OR BUSINESS. BIMORA'S TOTAL LIABILITY UNDER THIS EULA IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNTS PAID FOR THE SOFTWARE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

9. Third-party software

The Software may include open-source components under their own licenses, which apply to those components. Autodesk and Revit are registered trademarks of Autodesk, Inc.
